Considering the eighteen months that we have all had to endure Cinque Ports have come
through it remarkedly well.
2020/21 has turned out to be the most suddessful in our ten year history with the Sunday
team lifting the Dover Sunday League Premier Division title on May 9th when they de-
feated Athletico 2-0.
The club followed that up when the Reserves picked up the Canterbury & District League
Division 1 title by defeating Betteshanger Welfare 3-0. This game was played at Sand-
wich Leisure Centre because Betteshanger had cricket at the BBC.
Cinque Ports will be running a third Saturday team, called Cinque Ports ‘A’ for the
2021/22 season and will play in the Canterbury & District League Division 1 with the
reserves being promoted to the Premier Division.
The Kent County League and Canterbury & District Leagues are planning to start their
seasons around the middle/end of August. Cinque Ports Fixtures will appear in the Au-
gust Round Up.
The club Presentation Night will be on Friday August 6th at Deal Vics Cricket Club.
