The Kent County League and Canterbury & District Leagues are planning to start their
seasons around the middle/end of August. Cinque Ports Fixtures will appear in the Au-
       gust Round Up.
The club Presentation Night will be on Friday August 6th at Deal Vics Cricket Club.
Cinque Ports sadly had to withdraw from the Dover Sunday League a few weeks ago
but are very pleased to announce that they are now running an ‘A’ team or development
team with predominantly lads that have come out of their age group football and want
to try adult football, many of them for the first time. This is somethimg that the club has
always wanted because it now provides them with a platform for youth in the community
       to progress.
This added to the news that the reserve team were accepted into the Kent County League
because of vacancies brought about by the re-structuring a few levels higher, has given
the club a massive boost as it comes through the depressing ‘lockdown’ that we have all
       suffered.
Around the same time a couple of our senior players encouraged their Veterans team to
merge into the Cinque Ports administration which is another boost for the club as this
provides an outlet for our senior players to contiue with the Cinque Ports badge on their
chest. So we now have two teams in the Kent County League (Div 2 & 3 C&E), one in the
Canterbury & District League Div 1 and one in the Thanet Veterans League.
