As a result, the final League standings have now been confirmed meaning that Coventry City
have been confirmed as Champions with Rotherham United securing the second automatic
      promotion place.
Wycombe Wanderers, Oxford United, Portsmouth and Fleetwood Town will contest the Sky
Bet Play-Offs with the schedule to be announced in due course, while Tranmere Rovers, Sou-
thend United and Bolton Wanderers will start the 2020/21 season in League Two.
After extensive consultation with member clubs League 2 also decided to call a halt to the sea-
son. This means final league positions in League Two have been determined on unweighted
points per game with promotions, play-offs and relegations going ahead as normal.
Swindon Town, Crewe Alexandra and Plymouth Argyle have all been promoted automatically
while Colchester United, Exeter City, Northampton Town and Cheltenham will battle it out in
      the play-offs.
However, although bottom club Stevenage have been relegated to the National League be-
cause of a “disciplinary matter” relating to late payment of players’ wages at Macclesfield
Town, they were only docked two points as they were found guilty, which kept them above
Stevenage. The Stevenage Chairman was considering legal action as a result.
The EFL also want assurances that the 2020/2021 National League season will go ahead so
that the team relegated have a league to play in.
