The End Of An Era At The Kent County League
Aftre thirty five years as Chairman of the Kent County Football League, Cyril
Windiate has decided to ‘hang up his boots’. Cyril who has been involved
in football administration for fifty two years took the decision so that he
can spend more time with his family. He handed over the reigns to cur-
rent League Secretary Gavin Hoare at the League A.G.M. on June 17th.
Gavin will continue to carry out both roles until another Secretary can be
appointed. We wish them both well for the future and thank them for their
Cyril Windiate dedication to ‘grass roots’ football. Gavin Hoare
